The Honeymoon: Welcome to the Fun Ship!

Jason and I decided it would be fun to keep the honeymoon a surprise. He planned the whole thing, I didn't have to worry about anything. It was awesome, and he did such an amazing job. The only issue was as it got closer and closer, I wanted to know where we were going more and more. I tired to get him to tell me several times but like a good at the time fiance, he wouldn't and kept it a surprise. I'm glad he did!

Sooooo we went on a CRUISE TO KEY WEST AND COZUMEL, MEXICO! It was a blast! Perfect honeymoon.
EARLY monday morning, we flew to Miami. We got through the airport just fine, thanks to my awesome ariport navigation skills. I thank my parents for airport training me from the time I was an infant. I've been on at least 25 airplanes.
I got to sit by the window aka the BEST seat. I was pretty excited! When we got to Miami we got on a bus that took through the city and to our port where the ship was waiting. Jason was way excited to be back in Miami, where he served his mission. It was so cool to be there with him.

After making it through the terminal we finally got on the ship way before it was supposed set sail. We weren't allowed to go to our room yet so that gave us plenty of time to do Jason's favorite thing....eat! He was in heaven! All the food he could eat for free. Well sorta free, it's all included in the cruise.

So we ate and then sat around, waiting to be let into our room. At that point we were exhasuted from waking up 4 am and going non stop from that point on. It's crazy how much travel exhausts you so fast! Jason and I finally found a place to sit in the lobby, after a long search. We sat down across from a nice looking couple, who looked just a tiny bit older than us. I noticed the girl was wearing a BYU shirt. YES! We found other Mormons! We struck up a conversation with them and found out they were indeed LDS. Small world, huh? We later saw them a few more times on the cruise.

After the crew had finished cleaning all the rooms, we were finally allowed to go to our room. We were pretty excited just to lay down. Our room was awesome! The bed was comfy and we had a lot more room than I had expected! The bathroom was pleanty big enough too! We loved it! Plus the view from our window was always a good...
As the ship set sail (escorted by the coast gaurd), it was so fun watching maimi pass by. Jason knew all the sights and told me about each one as we passed it.
The next morning we woke up in KEY WEST! It was early enough to see the last bit of the sun rise. It was BEAUTIFUL pink and purple. Unfortunetely I didn't get a very good picture of it, so these will have to do. BUT Jason took a really awesome picture of the ship before all the people got up.
Because this is taking me FOREVER to post, I'm just going to have to do it in sevreal parts. So this concludes part 1.
