One Month of Wedded Bliss! What Have We Been Up To?

It's been a month! One amazing, love filled month! I've never been happier in my life. Jason makes me laugh harder then I've ever laughed before! I love him so much! It's so nice not having to say goodbye anymore at night. I get to wake up next to the man I love each and every morning. I love it! So what have we been up to?
Jason discovered that my dresses make great assasian scarves. Cute, right? I walked into our room, to find him with this dress on his head just the other morning. Did I mention I love him?
I've been cooking! YESS! Before I got married I never burnt anything! Now that I'm married I'm burning stuff left and right. Ugh! It must be a curse or something. Or maybe it's because I get distracted. Hmm...whatever it is, it must STOP! Anyway. This was the first meal I made and it was actually a success! Cheesy chicken! It's Jason's favorite, so far. We've had it twice already, he likes it so much! Plus it's so easy to make! Love it!

We organized the organizational area! Ironic, right? We have a small built in desk in our kitchen. We decided it would be our "command central" for bills and important papers blah blah blah. Only problem was, as we moved in we just threw everything on it. It was our default area. Soooo it needed some help. After I couldn't stand it anymore, I finally organized the organizational area. Go me! Now I love it and it makes me so happy everytime I see it. That's probably just be though. I love to be organized!!

I've discovered that Jason can sleep in the weirdest positions. In the picture above he is HALF OFF (yes, half off) the couch! He slept like that for 2 hours! Woah! But he looks so dang cute when he sleeps! I just love him.....
Apparently, Jason has an issue with my pink dogs. I found this one hanging from the ceiling. Thanks Jason! haha

Last night, we went on a night hike with my parents at the Heard Museum. It was so fun! I loved it...despite the heat. We didn't get to see many animals besides bugs BUT nature looks so much more different at night. We did see a ton of animal tracks though! That was pretty cool! I can't wait to go back when it's a bit cooler!
In the last picture of the tree, part of the tree is lighter. It's also kinda swelled. Our guide informed us that there is a scientific term for this. Butt swell. Yes....butt swell! Ummm....well, that's basically the most scientific term I've heard thus far!
Our guide was amazing and our group was great too. We learned a ton! They've actually found fosilized shark teeth on some of the hikes! She said they have a collection of about 50. Way cool to think about...
So I have the best husband in the world! Today he made me a PB&J sandwhich and arranged it on the plate so that it looked like a smiley face. He used a kiss for the nose and everything. He said he did that because he "likes to kiss my nose". Oh my goodness! BEST HUBBY EVER!
We're all moved in now. All that's left to do, is order prints of pictures to put in our frames and put up art work. Right now we have our frames hanging and displayed with the store pictures still in them! We're pretending they are us for now....

Hope everyone is having a beautiful sabbath day! xoxo

The Honeymoon: So Long Fun Ship! Until We Meet Again...

The last night of the cruise Jason and I found the adult only lounge. You had to be 21 or older to be there, sooo shhh...don't tell! Anyway! We wanted some peace and quiet so we decided it would be a good idea to spend most of our day at sea (our last day) there. Too bad everyone else had the same idea too. It was packed! Like woah packed! But at least it was quiet and relaxing...

After giving up on the adult lounge, Jason and I discovered...CHOCOLATE SUSHI!! SO DELICIUOS! Words cannot describe the amazingness....
After the chocolate sushi, I fell into a chocolate induced coma. I was so exhausted, I couldn't stay awake! Apparently, Jason thought it was cute to take pictures of me...
See...told you we still had the pig/dog! haha

Our last night of the cruise *tear* we found a heart as our towel animal. I guess it's not an animal but it was cute. Plus there was mint chocolate too! So yummy!!
Overall, our honeymoon was amazing! We had such a great time! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband that planned everything so well. It was perfect! The best part was spending each and every moment with the love of my life. I love you Jason!

The Honeymoon: Hello Paradise! Cozumel, Mexico

After surviving hurricane Alex, we arrived in Cozumel, Mexico! Oh my goodness! It was the definition of paradise! So amazing! I couldn't wait to get off the ship. Jason picked an excursion for us. We were going to go kayaking in a CLEAR kayak so that we could see through it to the coral reef below then go snorkling! SO FUN! Unfortunetely, due to the hurricane we didn't get to do the clear kayak part. It was too windy. BUT that's ok because we got to snorkel way longer.
We met the funniest couple on the excusrion. There were only 6 of us (inculding Jason and I) so we all got pretty close. Wess and Amber were awesome. As you can see from the picture above, Wess had a huge sense of humor.

We went to a Mexican national park called Chankanaab. It was absolutely beautiful. It translates to small sea.

There were giant lizards EVERYWHERE! They were cool to look at, but I was scared they were gonna attack me lol! Wild things attacking me seemed to be a common fear on the excursion...Literally everywhere we turned there was water! So tropical!

We got to see an actual crystal clear LAGOON! The water was so clear we could see straight to the bottom. Plus all the tropical fish too! SO AMAZING!

The beach was absolutely beautiful! Clear water and snow white sand! We spent most of our time snorkeling so we didn't get to spend much time on it, but I really wish we could have! I want to go back to Cozumel and spend a whole week!
The snorkeling was so fun! I was super nervous before hand though. I'd never been snorkeling before and I am so scarred of fish! So I had to get over that fear pretty quick. It took me a minute to get used to breathing through my mouth and having giant flippers on my feet, but I did eventually get the hang of it. Plus Jason stayed with me and held my hand the entire time! Aww! Best husband ever!
We saw tons of fish! It was scary at first cause they kept coming at me but I got used to that too and ended up not being so scarred towards the end. We got to see a yellow sting ray and a cute little sea horse! Our guide, Enrique, even caught a spider (it really does look like a spider) crab and let us hold it!
The reef was to die for! Kinda like on Finding Nemo! I've never seen anything like that in my life. I'm so happy that I got to share the experience with Jason.

The vegatation was to die for! I was snapping pictures left and right. Jason and I kept getting left behind because I was taking so many. Whoops!

After snorkeling, Enrique took us on a tour of the botanical gardens. Ancient sculptures were scattered thoughout the gardens. I almost died! I absloutely LOVE history, so I was definitely in my element.Oh look....more FISH! lol
There was an atual ruin in the gardens. It was called the Conch House, named after the counch shell at the top of it. It was so small! I'm still trying to figure out how people in there! We could actually walk on it. That was cool to have walked on something that natives built long ago!

There was a little village set up. It actually smelled like soot and there was really water in the well. That was basically awesome! It would be so crazy to live in a hut like that! Not much privacy, huh?

So we saw more sculptures and then........a GIANT ARCH! Way cool! We saw it on our way in but didn't stop. I was so sad, but then our guide promised we would come back. YESS!
Sadly, it was then time to head back to the ship. Jason and I did some shopping before we got back on board. We bought a MARACHA! I know that's not the way you spell it, but on our US customs form, we accidently spelled it wrong sooo now we like to make fun of our selves. Way to go Jason and Sarah! Anyway! It's handpainted red with some designs and was only $1! We couldn't pass up that deal. Plus we have a perfect spot for it on our book shelf!

That night we found a little friend waiting for us when we got back to our room! We couldn't decide if it was a pig or a dog. I say dog, Jason says pig. Sooo it's a pig/dog! I loved it! So CUTE! We left it on our desk because we didn't have the heart to take it apart....

More on our fun day at sea later! xoxo
