Jax Attacks = Krazy Kitty

That picture basically sums EVERYTHING up. That was taken when she was a baby but she is still the same a year later. I got my mom Jax Attacks (very appropriatey named) for her birthday last year. Little did we know, that cute little bundle of fuzz was going to be KRAZY! And yes, I spell crazy with a K because that's just how KRAZY she is.
Today (like everyday) I went to my parents house for lunch. As I was making my lunch I tired to open a drawer but it was stuck. So I tugged on it some more and got it open enought to see that JAX WAS IN THE DRAWER! Please keep in mind that these are very shallow drawers.
How the heck did she get in there?!! Visions of our cat, Jake (rest of soul), flashed through my mind. When he was little he climbed into our cabinets in our house in Washington and got stuck. My dad had to smash a hole in the cabinet to get him out. He was tramautized since. I was not about to let that happen to Jax attacks. So I had to grab her little feet and drag her out. She was not happy with me after that! Apparently she liked being in the drawer...
But for real, how the heck did she get in there?! My mom says she didn't leave any of the doors open. We may never know the secrets of that little beast...
She's not crazy all the time though. Well actually come to think of it, she's only not crazy when she's sleeping. Enjoy that cuteness that is Jax Attacks...

Bats: The Latest Trend

Yes...you heard me. Bats will be the latest trend one day. Simply because they are SO CUTE! Everyone probably thinks I'm crazy now but for real they are way cute. I have proof.....
SEE! How precious is that?! It's like a little chihuahua with wings! I should make my own line of bat harnesses and clothes. People will be able to take there winged friend out for a...fly! Haha get it...a fly!

Ever since I was young, I've wanted to volunteer at a bat sanctuary but you have to get a rabies shot, so I never got around it. When Jason and I were on our nightly walk tonight we saw a bat box and it brought back all the memories. This lady came to my school (I think I was in 5th or 6th grade) and showed us some bats. I fell in love with them!

So I just thought I would share that with everyone. Bats aren't the evil blood sucking creatures everyone thinks they are....

First Day of Fall

It's fall! Finally! My favorite season! I am so ready for cooler weather! Plus my most favorite things are in the fall. I thought I would share a few...
Apple cider! Oh my goodness, how can you not love the amazingness that is apple cider?! SO GOOD! Gotta love it : )

Caramel apples! Even though they almost pull out your teeth, caramel apples are so yummy! They make me feel like a little kid again. Nothing is more fun that a good caramel apple!

Pumpkin pie! Enough said. Not to brag but I can make a pretty awesome pumpkin pie if I may say so myself! Kinda my specialty...

CANDY CORN/PUMPKINS! I am obsessed with candy corn and pumpkins. I eat it to the point that I get sick. It's really not healthy but I don't care! It's so WORTH it...

Halloween! Of course! Who doesn't like halloween?! I mean really? You have an excuse to dress up and eat a ton of candy! Score!

He's All I Need...

Sorry I have been an epic fail at keeping this thing updated. I need to do better! As you can see we've been pretty busy running errands and working.

I have something way more important to talk about than all that though. His name is Jason aka my wonderful husband. I am so blessed to have him, he is so good to me. There has been a lot of drama in our life lately. Some people may think it's newly wed drama/fighting with Jason blah blah blah. I want to assure everyone that is definitely not the case. Unfortunetley, a lot of people have been causing unnecessary and hurtful drama.

Whatever. None of it matters. If people want to be rude to us that is there choice and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it! I have come to this realization after many sleepless nights. It's definitely not worth losing sleep over. That's what they want and they are not gonna get it anymore.

"Friends" will come and go but family is forever. Jason is my forever. He is all that matters and all I need. He has been my saving grace through this whole terrible ordeal. Whenever I'm having a rough day or just flat out upset he is right there making me laugh and me cheering up. He knows exactly what to do and when to do it. I love him so much. "Friends" will let me down. Jason will not. He's there for me and always has my back.

Heavently father truley blessed me by bringing Jason into my life and I can't thank Him enough! I love you Jason....

Lesson Leanred: Just Because it's a Raised Road Does NOT Mean it's 121...

Well I feel dumb. A few weekends ago, Jason and I went to the frisco mall to do some window shopping before we went to pick up our cousin, Bekah. Everytime we go to Nathan and Lanay's (where Bekah was staying) I see a road that looks just like 121 soooo I thought the whole time that it was 121.
When I told Jason we can just take 121 to thier house, he did not beleive me. I was convinced we could do it! 121 was there! I saw it! Plus we were already right by 121. I was going to save us a TON of time. Go me!
Since Jason didn't see how it was possible that 121 could take us there, we decided to take the normal way we knew got us there. But in the back of my mind, I knew I was going to show him!
So we got closer and closer to the road and I got more and more excited. I had finally found a quicker way to get somewhere. This is not one of my strong points.
Finally we were there! I said "SEE! 121! TOLD YOU!"
Wrong. It was Dallas Tollway or something like that. Ummmm...blonde moment? Can I blame it on that? Please? At least it made us laugh : ) in fact I was laughing so hard, my stomach hurt! So it was worth it. Laughter makes your life longer you know.
So once again, Jason was right haha! I don't think I'll ever be good at this navigation thing. I still get lost with a GPS. UGH! Oh well...good thing my handsome hubby is familiar with roads! Jason 1...Sarah 0
So lesson learned! Just because it's a raised road does NOT mean it's 121...

Rainbow : )

Just wanted to share some pictures of the rainbow from last week. It didn't really rain or storm here but we did get to enjoy the rainbow. I hope it rains soon and cools it down. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm getting pretty tired of the 100+ degree weather...
